Blood Alcohol Content Charts


There are many factors that affect your Blood Alcohol concentration (BAC) when you drink. Including but not limited to:  a person's size, gender and physical condition; what they have had to eat; how much sleep they have had; what medications they are taking and, importantly, the actual alcohol content of their chosen "drink."

The legal limit for Blood Alcohol Content in Texas is .08, however you may be arrested if you have consumed enough alcohol to “impair the normal use of your mental and physical faculties.” This means that you may still be arrested with less than a .08 if you are deemed “impaired” by the investigating officer.

There is no legal BAC limit for minors. Any detectable level of alcohol in your blood/breath is sufficient to receive a DUI if you are under the legal drinking age.
