The legal limit for Blood Alcohol Content in Texas is .08, however
you may be arrested if you have consumed enough alcohol to “impair the normal
use of your mental and physical faculties.” This means that you may still be
arrested with less than a .08 if you are deemed “impaired” by the investigating
officer.
There is no legal BAC limit for minors. Any detectable level of
alcohol in your blood/breath is sufficient to receive a DUI if you are under
the legal drinking age.
